There is no better example of crazy liberals than here in California:
California schools are forbidden from telling parents when their kids leave class to seek “confidential medical treatment” — including drug counseling and even abortion, according to the state attorney general’s office.
While schools must notify parents of the “Student Confidentiality Policy” (search) at the start of each academic year, the reality is that eighth-graders could end a pregnancy, get an AIDS test or seek treatment for addiction during the school day without their knowledge or consent.
That’s right. In California, you can’t get a tattoo, you can’t get your ears pierced, and you can’t even go to some tanning salons without your parent’s permission. But an eighth grader wants an abortion, and that is ‘her right to choose’.
A glimpse at the twisted mind of the abortion industry.

Finally, one thing I can agree with you on…although I do support a women’s right to choose– allowing a teen to seek medical attention during school hours is ridiculous. Funny how things have changed, “going to the nurse” for feminine issues when i was in school was simply a trip to get a pad or tampon.
