Republican State Rep. Talmadge Heflin, who chairs the House appropriations committee in Texas and had run for a 12th term in his 22-year legislative career, is refusing to concede a race that he lost by 32 votes to Hubert Vo; a refugee from Vietnam. Despite recounting three times, and having Hubert Vo win every time.
Please, please, do the honorable thing and CONCEDE. You are no different than the Democrats when you start acting like this.
My work mate, who himself is also a Vietnamese refugee, and who otherwise always votes Republican is very upset about this, and frankly, he has every right to. It’s disgusting.
What if Hubert Vo received 500 votes from non-citizens, and Talmadge Heflin only 50? I believe Helfin is alledging voter fraud along these lines, that is why he hasn’t conceeded. It is unfortunate if Vo did get elected this way, since I think he is the better candidate.
