It will be a tragedy, not just for the United States, but for the world, if it does not. Not everyone was ‘the bad one’ though, one of my favorite parts of the movie was that this is one of the few movies where the Mexican (okay, latino) - and really only the latino - was the good guy, all throughout the movie. :-)

On a serious note, I do hope, strongly hope, that the American experiment will work. It will be a tragedy, not just for the United States, but for the world, if it does not.

One observation I walked away with is that I never want to live in LA! It must be all that sunshine that makes people depressed. More seriously, I think the message had to do with dealing with personal prejudice. Everyone was victimized, sometimes by the least likely person. America is a very interesting social experiment.
