While it was the lies of the White House and the usurpation of congressional powers that got us into the war, most of the Democrats in Congress failed to show the courage to stand up to the president when it might have made a difference. Hopefully, more Democrats will show a little courage now in actively seeking an end to a wrong war that is killing not only so many Iraqis but also our own troops.
