As a matter of fact most of the things that slowed the creation of parliament was that there were not enough Sunni's involved in the government. Most were banned from government with the baathist purge instituted by Bremer.

Everyone knoew that any democratically elected government were going to become puppets of Iran, since all of the people running Iraq now had asylum from Iran.

How's that again? "all of the (Sunni) people running Iraq" are in asylum in (Shiite) Iran?

Well, I guess if you say so...

"Never mind what would happen to gays or defenders of gays if the Islamic fascists took over."

Has the fear-mongering gotten so bad that the alarmists are now not just crowing about impending terrorist attacks, but now they feel that the "islamofacists" are about to invade our borders, take over our government and install an islamic theoacracy in the US, despite the fact that moslems make up less than 1% of our population.

I personally could care less what happens at Harvard. It is an elitist, exclusionary institution has been for 350 years, I did not go there, my kids will not go there.

This is another distractions thrown out by Bill O'Reilly and the other right-wing propagandists.

The real problem with who is associating with Iran, is Iraq. Last week Al-Maliki met with current Iranian president Ahmadinjad. You know the guy developing nucleur weapons, threatening to destroy Israel, denying the Holocaust.

Here's what they said:

Accompanied by mutual expressions of "brotherhood", the two Shi'ite leaders--al-Maliki and Ahmadinejad--pledged continued cooperation. Ahmadinejad stated,

"This trip will strengthen bilateral relations. Iran and Iraq, as two brotherly neighbors, will stand by each other and unwanted guests (U.S.-led coalition forces) will leave the region".

Al-Maliki characterized the talks as "very constructive" adding that Iran is "…a very important country, a good friend and brother."

This is tragic. 2,800 soldiers killed, tens of thousands of civilians killed, tens of thousands of soldiers injured, tens of billions of dollars wasted - so that Iran can have a brotherly neighbor to srand up against the unwanted guests.

It is obvious that we are currently defending our enemies, we are supporting a government that hates us and loves our enemy.

Sad thing is everyone saw this coming. Everyone knoew that any democratically elected government were going to become puppets of Iran, since all of the people running Iraq now had asylum from Iran. Everyone warned about it but the moron Neocon's in the DoD and the White House. However the American public voted for these guys to return because they were distracted by all of the BS and fear and this Harvard elitist railing is the same sh*t different day for this election.
