Not really surprised…Krugman’s writing on trade are clearly among the best.
For example, his old article titled, “In Praise of Cheap Labor
Bad jobs at bad wages are better than no jobs at all”, is one I send to all my anti-free trade Chicano friends and one I wholeheartedly agree with (its basically a defense of sweatshops and free trade in general).
I highly recommend you read it as well if you have not done so already, see here.
