    This isn’t really so difficult to understand. Krugman is frankly not overly concerned by the national debt, but even so, he doesn’t see the point in needlessly adding to it. He sees the upper class tax cuts as a needless expense – the middle class tax cuts, not so much. And that pretty much explains it.
